The event is organised by a team of regular, experienced competitors from the York Motor Club. Once again we are using the excellent start and finish venue at Askham Bryan Agricultural College, on the outskirts of York with fast links from the A1 and A1(M). Here we are able to offer at a single site: bar, evening meal, basic bed and breakfast accommodation, trailer parking, scrutineering and signing on. This year the route will explore some new areas and we have also found some additional tests to add to old favourites such as Tholthorpe airfield. There will be a total of 12 varied driving tests on sealed and broken tarmac, linked by six regularity sections, all timed to the second with minimal transit. Navigation clues will be varied but not impossible brain-teasers, and there will be plot-and-bash sections. <o:p></o:p></span> </p> <p align="left" class="style14"> <span lang="EN-GB">We are a round of the HRCR (REIS) Clubmans Championship and NESCRO Challenge.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p align="left" class="style14" style="tab-stops: 91.7pt"> <span lang="EN-GB">For new competitors and those who do not want the added expense of competition licences or the complexity of navigation; the North Yorkshire Classic Run is a Clubmans event running alongside the main event, and using a similar route and all the driving tests of the Rally.
